Assessment

Berea's outcomes assessment process runs on a three-year cycle for academic departments, academic and student support services, and administrative offices. Each area below has its own process outline, report template, and review rubric, followed by guides that apply to everyone.

The assessment cycle at Berea. Years 1, 2, and 3 each assess about two outcomes, so every outcome is assessed at least once. Academic departments then complete a fourth-year departmental review before a new cycle begins. Each year follows six steps: look back (Part A), plan (Part B), collect and analyze (Part C), act (Part D), submit the report and materials by May 31 (Part E), and receive feedback.
